The Mogadishu Mile bottle commemorates the harrowing battle fought between U.S. Special Forces and Somali militia during Operation Gothic Serpent in 1993. Following a mission to capture key lieutenants of a Somali warlord, American forces found themselves surrounded in hostile territory after two Black Hawk helicopters were shot down. The surviving soldiers had to make a perilous run, known as the "Mogadishu Mile," on foot through the streets of Mogadishu under relentless enemy fire. This heroic endeavor highlights the courage, resilience, and unwavering brotherhood of the U.S. Special Forces, honoring their sacrifice and valor in the face of overwhelming odds. We will never forget the 19 Soldiers lost in the duration of the Mogadishu Mile.
